Riyadh: Farewell dinner Ali Noman

After all the good things comes an end, so also for Ali Noman, our colleague. He is leaving the FAST consortium and especially Line 6 Procurement where he worked for 2 years. However after every end there is always a new start with new changes and opportunities. And in this occasion this is certainly truth because Ali is going to move to Canada where he will start up a whole new live, face great opportunities and have a fresh look into the future, together with his family.
Of course we wish him all the best and wish him all the luck in this new environment.

Ali and I discussed this new journey several times and I truly believe he will succeed over there. Just because he is having a clear picture of what he wants, now and in the future and he is achieving this by having a plan with little steps which he all fulfilled. A preparation of many years and now it is the moment to make the final and big step.

In the last two years I have learned Ali as a dedicated and very professional procurement professional. That is why I think he will succeed in the western world also because he survived to work with the Dutch, and not only one, almost a whole procurement department (6). :-)

Last week we held a farewell dinner for Ali Noman, and to remember the Dutch, we gave him the typical items from Holland. Flowers and a Holland Shirt.
We had a very pleasant Yemeni dinner in one of the best Yemeni restaurants here in Riyadh, well organized by Sami Hasan and Waheed.

Ali, All the best and thank you very much for your support and being a colleague in the last two years. We are going to miss you (although you will stay in our mind). And keep us updated how you do in (freezing) Canada.
